The hardest thing to do is find someone you can trust. When you are looking for a horse, this is a major factor. My experience when purchasing AQHA The Reverend Black "Jesse" from Amy and Tim was the most pleasant experience I have had in more then 30 years of owning horses.
Amy gave me full support from the beginning of the sale to long after and continues to support everything I do with Jesse. Her representation of the horse was 100% accurate, no hard sell, only complete truth.
Jesse is a wonderful companion with a great mind and excellent training foundation. He was started by Amy with care and compassion and it is obvious she treated the horse with total professionalism and knowledge. I have known Amy for a year now. We have started my two daughters on a three year old Quarter Horse. Amy has been great at teaching them confidence and helping them become smart riders. We have gone to our first show now and won every class! Amy was in the ring with our 9year old, making sure she was feeling safe and secure on her young horse. She allows the girls to make mistakes at home, doesn’t yell at them, corrects them with firmness and they smile the whole lesson time! Each week we train with Amy, the girls cross milestones. Our 9 year old is timid and lacks confidence. She is now very confident and self corrects her mistakes without falling apart. Amy has been paramount in getting her to this stage!
We show up and the horse is ready to ride, which saves us much time as we drive from Lakeville, MN to ride. The barn is always clean and organized. I can’t thank Amy enough for her care and concern over our wellbeing and the horses too. We have had trouble in the past with trainers that abuse the young horses by riding them too hard and too fast to get them ready. Even after conversations with these trainers they wear out the young horses to the point of abuse and now are no longer sound. Amy has been exact in her training, not too fast and not too slow. She will go slower if she feels the young horse is not ready. We as owners can have trouble with this, but in the long run, at Amy’s we are left with a healthy horse!
